CONCRETECOMA is a multi-disciplinary design studio.
Founded in 2015 by Ellie Fox Johnson, after realising there was a gap for a studio which specialised in architecture, social design and experiential design, but also facilitated crossovers of fashion, tech and other industries.
Her early professional career began by chance, with modelling, which in part catalysed her burgeoning social media presence, particularly in the music world. Soon after she started writing and managing social media for various outlets, and embarked on an Art Foundation course whilst balancing her modelling career. In 2017, she graduated with a BA (Hons) in Architecture from Central St. Martins, where she was recognised by Blueprint Magazine as ‘One To Watch’ in their graduate issue. Her collaborative project College Square is part of a series of public installations in Croydon which won the ‘Meanwhile’ New London Architecture award in 2018.
